Demand forecasting
JingSaw helped an e-commerce business develop a model to forecast demand for inventory planning. The work connected predictive analysis with the owner’s need to plan stock levels.
The model was developed to help the business anticipate demand and inform inventory management. The focus was on making a forecast useful for a practical business decision.

EDUCATION ASSESSMENT
Product blueprint
An education assessment provider needed a blueprint for assessing college-level data literacy. JingSaw worked with its product manager to structure the scope across data science, data analysis, and business analysis.
The blueprint provided a framework for the product manager’s subsequent AI-assisted question generation. JingSaw’s contribution was the assessment blueprint, rather than production or validation of the resulting test bank.

Executive collaboration
A manufacturing business needed help understanding communication differences with an international partner. JingSaw developed an executive workshop around the situations leaders faced in their daily work.

I’m a Full Professor of Economics and Quantitative Analysis at PennWest University and a former Senior Manager in Quantitative Analysis / Data Science at Capital One. My background includes a Ph.D. in Economics and an M.S. in Statistics.
